Film Nights on the banks of the Elbe

on foot and by bike:

The Film Nights area is idyllically situated between the Carola and Augustus bridges, on the Neustadt side of the river, directly below the Ministry of Finance. If you start from the Old Town, simply cross one of the aforementioned bridges and you're already there! Good news for cyclists: 200 bicycle parking spaces await you at both entrances.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

Whether you are travelling from Neustadt station or from the main station, take tram line 3 and get off at Carolaplatz. A short walk in the direction of Carolabrücke will take you directly to the Film Nights site. Other lines leading to Carolaplatz are lines 7 and 8, or use the stop "Neustädter Markt" with lines 4 and 9.

BY CAR:

From Dresden-Hellerau: Follow Hansastraße to Neustädter Bahnhof. Continue along Hainstraße and Große Meißner Straße. The car park in Wigardstraße is just a stone's throw from the site.

From Dresden-Altstadt: Take the B6 and Ostra-Allee. Pass the Zwinger and cross the Augustusbrücke bridge. The car park and the Film Nights site cannot be missed after the bridge.

PARKING:

Please note that parking is limited. Nevertheless, there are some recommended parking spaces such as in Wigardstraße, Theresienstraße, Schießgasse and Sarrasanistraße. Special parking spaces are reserved for people with physical disabilities at the evening programme.
