Germany’s ‘Christmas Capital’, which has the oldest Christmas market in the country (as well as ten additional seasonal markets) and is home to the famous Dresden Christmas stollen, will bring a twinkle to the eye of children and adults alike.

Since 2009, we have been running our regular campaign under the banner headline ‘Dresden makes winter sparkle’. We market all the Christmas and winter attractions as a single package, taking the Striezelmarkt as our lead event. With Germany and the Czech Republic as our primary target markets, we endeavour to attract more day and overnight visitors to the city on the Elbe. We avail ourselves of a professional cross-media marketing mix of out-of-home advertising, advertisements, brochures, online marketing and much more besides. The main target groups? Tourists, tour operators and travel journalists.
