Sweepstakes March/April

Rum, Reggae and Jerk – right in the middle of Dresden’s old town! Only a few weeks old, the new Turtle-Bay-Restaurant in the "Lebendigen Haus" ("Lively House") close to the Dresden Zwinger is thrilling its guests and the city with its concept of "Caribbean social". The British restaurant chain has already opened 34 Turtle-Bay-Restaurants in Great Britain and is starting its German (ad)venture with its new location in Dresden. A holiday on Barbados inspired the Turtle-Bay founder Ajith Jayawickrema to create the restaurant with the Caribbean lifestyle. Together with the German Turtle-Bay-Chef, Alexander Gausmann, Mr. Jayawickrema has now brought this culinary experience to Germany.

Turtle Bay is friendly staff and Caribbean flair: after a bit of training in Great Britain, the restaurant manager, barkeeper and service staff, along with the special design, have now come together in Dresden to make their guests feel as if they were on holiday. The food, which is always fresh and has that zesty, hot and authentic taste that people in the Caribbean love, is cooked with local produce and imports from the islands.

Hungry? Curious? Then take part in our sweepstakes and win a € 50 voucher for the Turtle Bay Restaurant.

Our prize question is: Which famous tourist attraction can be found right across from Turtle Bay? Tip: Inside you can find the Old Masters Gallery. Please send your answer by 15 April 2017 at the latest to We will notify the winner by email.
