Prize Draw March/April

The pleasures of a great glass of wine are a part of what Dresden Elbland is all about. And there are a lot of ways you can get to know the wines we offer, the history, kinds, growing areas and wineries. Various regional tour operators know their way around the Elbland wine growing region and offer tours that last a few hours, a day or even several days. Whatever you choose, all you have to do is lean back and enjoy.

With a bit of luck you could win a SACHSENTRÄUME wine tour. Under the heading of "Weingenuss auf schmaler Spur" (Enjoying wine on small tracks) the tour combines travel on a narrow gauge railway with the tasting of three of the region’s best wines. The tour starts and ends in Radebeul, with a stop in Moritzburg.

Which narrow gauge railway is it? Mail your answer together with your contact information to presse@marketing.dresden.de, catchword "Gewinnspiel Visit Dresden. News". If you send us the correct answer, we will include you in the raffle for a tour for two worth 108 euros. The tour includes a certified wine guide, a trip on an historic narrow gauge railway from Radebeul to Moritzburg and back, a moderated tasting of 3 excellent, specially selected Saxon wines, a small guided hike along the wine hills and a winemaker’s buffet in a traditional country restaurant.

In our last newsletter we asked what colour is used to this very day to paint, by hand, Europe’s oldest trademark onto every piece of art produced by MEISSENER PORZELLAN®. Cobalt blue was the correct answer and our lucky winner is Ms. Schlichter from Kißlegg.
